1. Make sure you purchase a European Travel Adapter for your electronics as U.S. plugs won’t work in European outlets.

2. If you need to contact anyone with a European phone number- like a restaurant, taxi, or service- we recommend downloading WhatsApp. Most Italians use it, and you can easily reach them by call or text through the app.

3. Check and RECHECK your passport expiration date! You can NOT travel to Italy if your passport is 6 months or less from expiring (from the date you plan to travel home).

4. If you need a car service, be sure to book in advance, as Uber and Lyft are not available in Italy.

5. Ladies, if you’d like to wear stiletto heels, please keep in mind that some surfaces are uneven. We recommend using heel protectors to prevent sinking into the grass or stumbling on cobblestones.
